Don’t Stop Loving
During a Redvolution lecture or workshop, I often ask people what comes to mind when they think about the color or energy of red. Usually, eventually, someone will say “Stop” as in a red stop sign or stop light. And while of course this is true, I’ve always wondered how the mystical red, the red divine, the red of the heart relates to all these “Stop” signs…till now.
I recently found this delightful image and it completely changed my perception of these red signs. So now every time you see a stop sign or a stop light, imagine that the Red Divine is really saying this…

Red means go, Green means stop! Red is passionate, wild, exuberant, it is life, blood, the lushness of a crimson dream. Red stimulates adrenaline - the fight or flight hormone, it grounds, brings us back to earth, and demands a response. I often see red in the energy fields of dancers and those whose lives have been devoted to the Goddess. It is the perfect title for your book!

I think it’s a lot of fun when people take the commonplace structures of their society — in this instance, stop signs — and transform them to convey a positive message.
